“Tangential Brooklyn”

My buddies Lindsay and Jared are beyond amazing. They made me the most incredible art ever. The photo I took of it in dull apartment lighting doesn’t do it justice. 

They walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, taking pictures as they went. After getting a bunch of incredible shots and editing, they printed on iron-on transfers to make this collage on the canvas. Finally, they sewed on red thread for an added artistic zing.

I’m so wowed and impressed and elated. How many people are lucky enough to have art from their friends that they actually want to look at every day?!

As an added pleasure, I offhandedly guessed what it was before I got it, yet was totally sincerely shocked when I unwrapped it. But that’s a story for another day.
