From an email from my friend who teaches 4th grade:
Spelling quiz directions: use each vocabulary word in a creative sentence that show the word’s meaning.
Word: eliminate
Student 1’s answer: I will eliminate you if it’s the last thing I do on this filthy planet.Also:
Word: Incredulous
Student 2’s answer: I would be incredulous if I saw a 3-month old Dominican baby speaking Chinese.
Both of these had me laughing so hard it hurt. Especially the second one. Because it’s just that funny to picture.
