Ban them as in, here’s the city line, Lance, there’s a bike rack. Lock it up, and flag yourself a nice air-conditioned cab. Maybe you won’t be sweating so much when you walk into work.

Brian McGrory, Globe Columnist, in his article arguing that biking should be banned within city lines.

The article is, regardless of its caricatural style, ignorant, childish, and arrogant. It pits all cyclists as bad because of a few who don’t follow rules and makes clear that drivers own the road.

Biking should be a viable option of both transportation and recreation for people, especially in cities. Maybe if Mr. McGrory could express some of his complaints less standoffishly, they could be part of a solution for better sharing of the roads and enforcement of laws.
