Seriously, one of the coolest exhibits ever. It’s at the Brooklyn Museum now through April 10, so no excuses! It’s incredible to see how so many of his paintings are collages of several different study photographs, whereas others are almost exact replicas. One of my favorites was of a guy looking at a painting, and the woman in the painting was painted from a fantastic separate photo….ah I can’t even begin to explain it. Just go check it out.
