When I visited my friend Laura in the Dominican Republic last year, she took our crew to the most fantastic fair trade women’s art co-op, La Tienda. Rachel runs it and sells the works of 30 women from the community. I bought candles, earrings, and necklaces.
They unfortunately aren’t able to ship products individually*, but there are lots of ways to support La Tienda. There are also a few distributors.
