Comedy Podcast: I’m a regular on Pre-Recorded Late Night, which hopefully has it’s funny moments. At the very least, it’s something I enjoy recording once a week or so. Don’t take it seriously, future employers.
Loving my Neighborhood: I’m a co-editor of the Prospect Heights, Brooklyn Neighborhoodr blog. You should read it for all the great happenings in the hood. I also started the Brooklyn Bathroom Blog, which is as sexy and intriguing as it sounds. (It’s a photoblog of bathroom hardware.)
Historical Discovery: I found my great grandmother’s old trunk from when she immigrated from Russia. It has hundreds of photographs and love letters and personal documents and remnants; it’s pretty incredible. I’d like to get the letters translated (from Russian and Yiddish) and do something with it. I also need to preserve everything. I have some ideas, but would love to hear yours. Or, if you can offer any assistance in any way, please do!
JensList NYC: Like Craigslist, but better! It’s a Facebook group I created to connect my acquaintances who are apartment hunting.
Teaching at the Brooklyn Brainery: I love skillsharing, and the Brooklyn Brainery is my home for doing that. Hopefully, the classes I am developing and teaching there will be tweaked into a webinar format in the not-so-distant future.
Scavenger Hunt: A healthy balance of competition, discovery, problem solving, and daring feats. First personally-designed hunt was completed for my 26th birthday.
This Blog: I try to put effort and thought into all of my posts, and I am confident that at least my Grammy and Grandma like it. So that’s a start. And less modestly, I think a few other people like it, too. Here’s to hoping that some day, I’m an internet celebrity (the good kind)!
