NYC Green Cart Fresh Food Pack Launches Today
I’m pleased to share with you the Fresh Food Pack, a joint collaboration between the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, NYC Green Cart Initiative, and the James Beard Foundation. I’ve been working on this over the last several months and I’m very pleased with how everything in this Spring/Summer pack turned out. Great photography, yummy and healthy foods, helpful storage tips, and Spanish as well as English make this recipe set a delight.
Look for packs at select NYC Green Carts over the next few months, or check out our online version. If you can, buy ingredients from vendors; they deserve the business and usually have just as fresh (or fresher!) produce than the grocery stores!
